Graduation Day in Bedford

Bedford town centre was a scene of joy and delight recently as the University of Bedfordshire graduates donned their gowns to collect their degrees.

Prior to the ceremony, the graduates looked very smart dressed in full gowns and mortarboards that were supplied by Ede and Ravenscroft who are the official suppliers to the University of Bedfordshire. The graduates gathered opposite Harpur street and waited for official photographs to be taken. This was a proud day that was shared with family members.

The Class of 2015 received their certificates at a civic ceremony at the Corn Exchange in the presence of dignitaries of the county, including Bedford Mayor Dave Hodgson and the High Sheriff The Countess of Erroll. Refreshments and merchandise were available after the ceremony at St Paul’s Church for the graduates and their families to remember this special day.
