Apprenticeship Ceremonies

As momentum grows with the government promoting the benefits of apprenticeships, we feel that it is important to celebrate the achievements of the apprentices who have reached such an important milestone in their working lives.

Academic dress

To recognise the significance of the Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony, a traditional bachelors gown can be worn with perhaps a mortarboard, the look is completed with each apprentice wearing a Graduation Attire stole. The design of our stole, using the Apprenticeships logo has been approved by the Skills Funding Agency and has been well received and admired by current clients.

Our service to you

We appreciate that apprenticeship providers have different budgets, and so to keep costs down, we can simply deliver the garments directly via courier to you to distribute amongst your apprentices.

As an alternative we are happy to attend your event to provide a full gowning service where it is our responsibility to look after robing on your behalf. This is usually the case for larger cohorts of apprentices.

On the day

After collecting their gowns pupils can relish the moment perhaps by having a formal photograph taken or (with your permission) take selfies to share with friends and families.

An apprenticeship ceremony lends itself to an event where employers and providers can be introduced, perhaps to deliver a speech to congratulate the achievements of those attending. A local celebrity could add even more interest to the occasion and the local media could attend this showcase event to promote local apprenticeships. As the event draws to a close, gowns will be returned to the robing area, either to the care of our staff, or to your own, depending on which service you decide is best for you.
